This is a blog by Joel Adeney. Joel is the husband of one wife and the father of five children. He loves every chance he gets to point people to Jesus, which is what this blog is for! He grew up in Seattle before moving to the Chicago area to get some education, first at Wheaton College and then at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Joel served for two years as the pastor of MillBrook Christian Fellowship in rural New Hampshire.

The purpose of this blog is to provide anyone who is interested in knowing and following Jesus with resources, encouragement, and biblical direction. When you visit here, you will find explanations of biblical passages, meditations on theological and practical issues, and tools to help you read the Bible and live out its teachings. Most of all, hopefully every time you visit you will find Jesus Christ, who is “the same yesterday and today – and forever” (Hebrews 13:7).
